Adding teammates

Invite Team

The Invite Team page lets you add members to your company so they can help manage ideas in Frill.

Unlimited Team Members

One of the great things about Frill is that team members are totally unlimited — invite as many as you like.

Inviting Team Members

  1. Click Invite Team.
  2. Enter the new member’s email address.
  3. Choose a role from the dropdown (see roles below)
  4. Click Invite.

📧 Important: The new team member must click the link in the email invite to activate their account.

Roles and Permissions

  • Admin

    Full access. Admins can change company ownership or billing settings, as well as invite and remove other members.

  • Moderator

    Can administer Ideas (manage submissions, votes, comments) but cannot change company ownership or billing settings.

  • Idea Submitter
    Can vote and submit Ideas on behalf of customers, view all private Ideas and Topics but cannot administer Ideas or settings.

  • Viewer

    Can view all private Ideas and Topics but cannot administer Ideas or change settings.

  • Read-only

    Can only view the company board. Read-only users cannot add votes, comments, or access any admin features.

Notes

  • Admins can promote, demote, or remove other team members.
  • All changes take effect instantly.
  • If you need specific custom roles, contact us — we’re always open to feedback on improving this section.
  • Only Admins and Moderators can see unpublished announcements
