General Settings

The General Settings page is where you set up your board’s core branding and navigation.

Company

  • Company Logo

    Upload your company logo in both Light theme and Dark theme versions (256 × 256 px recommended).

  • Display

    Choose how your branding appears in the header:

    • Logo only
    • Company name only
    • Logo and name together
  • Company Name

    Enter the name of your company as you’d like it displayed.

  • Logo Link

    Add a URL to make your logo clickable (e.g., link to your website).

  • Favicon

    Upload the small icon that appears in browser tabs (96 × 96 px, PNG only).

  • Open Graph Image

    Upload an image that appears as a thumbnail when you share your board on social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. (Recommended size: 1200 × 630 px.)

    → Tip: Use an image that reflects your own branding for best results.

Site Navigation

Control which parts of your board are visible to users:

  • Ideas
  • Roadmap
  • Announcements

You can switch these on/off at any time. For example, if you only want to use Frill for Announcements, you can disable Ideas and Roadmap.

Additional options:

  • Idea Search: Toggle a search bar so users can quickly find ideas.
  • Login/Sign up buttons: Choose whether login options appear on your board.

Other Notes

  • Auto-Save: There’s no save button. All changes are applied instantly.
  • Terminology: Want to rename sections? (e.g., change Ideas to Feature Requests). Head to the Terminology & Languages settings.
  • Help: Need assistance? You can always reach us via the in-app help bubble.
